Important information
1. Flight Duration: Tours typically last 1.5 to 2 hours, including flight time and a water landing in the fjords.
3. What to Wear: Dress in layers as temperatures can vary. Bring a light jacket or raincoat, even in summer, as it can be cooler or wet in the fjords.
4. Camera/Phone: Bring a camera or smartphone with plenty of battery. The views are spectacular, and many planes have large windows for sightseeing. Large telephoto lenses do not fit well in the aircraft.
5. Wildlife Spotting: Be on the lookout for wildlife such as eagles, seals, and bears along the way. Bring binoculars if possible. We do not guarantee wildlife sightings but our keen eyed pilot will do the best to spot some for you.
6. Flight Routes: Routes may vary slightly based on weather conditions. Our pilot aims to provide the best views while ensuring safety.
7. Motion Sickness: If you’re prone to motion sickness, consider taking anti-nausea medication prior to the flight.
8. Safety Briefing: Listen carefully to the pre-flight safety briefing, as seaplane operations have some unique safety measures.
9. Weather Conditions: Flights are weather-dependent, and cancellations due to poor weather are possible. Always check with us in advance. In the event of a weather cancellation you will be refunded fully, be sure to check with us about some of our weather friendly tour alternatives.
11. Luggage: Space is limited, so only small bags are allowed. Leave large backpacks or luggage at your accommodation or we can keep them in the shop for you while on tour.
